Min engleska är inte lika bar som när jag gick på universitet, men den är fortfarane okej. Men det spelar inte så stor roll för att jag måste inte skriva upsatser. Detta var första riktiga veckan, och det är svårt. Att börja i en ny stad från början, eller nästan från början, är svårt. Älste L o jag var skickat hit för att fixa området. Han är distrikt ledare för att han inte få vara Zon ledare tills han har hjälpt mig en stund. Men om jag hade inte kommit så skulle han vara Zon Ledare. President Newell säger att om man följer Älste linjen (precis som man kan följa prästadoms linjen), och om jag gör sakerna han gör så kommer jag också bli Zon Ledaren. Det är en kool löfte! Iaf att starta upp ett nytt område är mycket lik att starta en företag. Det är mycket forarbete, men förhoppningsvis så kan vi eller nästa missionärer använda relationerna som vi bygger.
Vi har bara en utredare. Han har varit undervisad innan och sa att vi kunde forsätta. Problemet är att han är muslim, innan trodde han i kristedom, och gillar att ''bible bashing'' (bråka om biblen). Med honom så jobbar vi med att faktist läsa Mormons Bok och göra saker, t.ex. att be. Förutom det så håller vi på med att få dom som är less aktiva att komma till kyrkan. Detta gör vi så att grenen can bli en församling och så att utredare kan komma och känna sig hemma och trygga med folket. Vi pratade med en less aktiv medlem igår, Sam, och det var coolt! Han har inget imot våran tro, men han vet inte att det är det som vi tror på. Det ända som han inte tror på riktigt än är att det bara finns en san kyrka. Han tycker att Gud drog honom ur denna så vi försöker hjälpa honom komma ihåg den vittnesbörd som han hade.
Jag har en sak som jag vill berätta om. När vi skulle planera veckan så hade vi ungefär 13 namn som vi skulle undervisa för. De va inaktiva, uteredare och aktiva. Med så många olika situationer så kunde vi inte bara välja en lektion. Istället så frågade vi Gud. Vi öppnade varje ''revelatory session'' eller diskussion med namnet eller familjen's namn med bön. Sen pratade vi om kyrkan och bad igen. Anden var väldigt stärkt under dessa dikussioner. Coolaste saken var att vi hade äldrig träffat dess människor innan och att vi fortfarande pratade om något som de behövde höra. Det var underbart att kunna se att mitt kall var verkligen sann och att kunna se att man kunde faktist få personlig insepration.

Hey everyone,
First off my English, while not terrible yet, is definietly not on the same level as in college, which I guess is- okay seeing as here I don't have to defend any papers. This was my first real week of work here, and it's hard. Starting in an area from scratch, or almost, is hard. Me and Elder L were sent here to sort of fix the are. He's currently a District Leader, because they don't let you train as a Zone Leader, but if I hadn't screwed up his career plans then he would be one. Apparently, according to President Newell anyway, if you follow the lineage of Elders in positions of leader ship it goes similar to a Priesthood Lineage, and if I do the things he does than I also end there. Which is quite a cool promise. Anyway similar to starting up a business restarting an area with a less than great history is hard. It takes a lot of foot work, but hopefully either while I am here or while the next missionaries are here they can take advantage of the serious relationships we are working on building.
We only have one investigator, he was previously being taught by the missionaries and agreed to meet with us. The problem is that he is Muslim, converted from Christianity, and likes to bash the Bible. So we are working on focusing on reading the BoM and actually doing things. Like praying, etc. Besides that we are working with most of the less actives in the area in order to help the Branch grow to a Ward and to create an area that investigators can be brought into and feel welcome. We worked with one less active yesterday, Sam and it was awesome. He agrees with all our doctrine, doesn't know it's our doctrine yet, except he isn't sure there is only one church that is true because he thinks God pulled him out of this one. So we are going to try to remind him that he had a witness of this church and that he knows its true.
I had one experience I wanted to share. In preparation for this coming week we had about thirteen names that we needed lessons for. Both inactive, investigator, and active. With that variety we decided that we couldn't just teach the same lesson. So instead we knelt in prayer about each name. We opened a revelatory session about each name or family with a prayer, we talked about them, and then we closed. The spirit was amazingly strong during this experience. The cool thing was we haven't met half the people yet. We talked a few moments on the phone and that's it. And still through the spirit we were able to define a topic and lesson plan for each family-name suited to their needs. It was a really cool witness of my calling, and of the power of personal and area of authority revelation.
